When it comes to marijuana growing, I had always thought of a type of expert, then what is interesting is that when most people buy homegrown marijuana, their largest problem is the odor of the product. They don’t care too much about the look or the percentage of THC, but most of our clients that come into the grow home just want to smell the product, but a better and more potent odor usually has people thinking the pot is of better quality and a higher THC satisfied. Whether it is the truth or not doesn’t seem to make a difference, but i have worked in our cultivation facility to get better odoring buds; How do you grow pot that smells much more potent? Some people like diesel or skunk weed. However, I have discovered that the majority of our clients are looking for a more tropical scent like redberries, pineapple or even wanting a lovely smell, so how do I get these strong smells to come about? The main thing when growing pot is nutrients. I am always looking for the right nutrients to allow the odors to come forth. Most inexperienced and even experienced growers tend to mess up and stop odors from happening. The number one issue at hand is that they are using chemicals on their products. I only use nutrients out of living sources like kale, guano or worm castings. Typically I use Bloom nutrients right in the flowering stages of our buds. This helps help balance the nitrogen and increase the potassium levels… Right before the buds are about to flower, so around week 6, I split back all nutrients. That is because if the bud absorbs too much, it significantly cuts the odor. Interesting am I right?
